What are the ingredients in  Nutrifol Ampoules?

The active ingredients in Nutrifol Ampoules include:

Nettle Extract: Scientifically known as Urtica dioica, nettle is a herbaceous perennial flowering plant in the family Urticaceae. Originally native to Europe, much of temperate Asia and western North Africa, it is now found worldwide, including New Zealand and North America. Not only does nettle extract help in combating hair loss, but it also helps in hair re-growth. Nettle leaves are rich in silica and sulfur, minimizing hair breakage and thinning while also regenerating hair follicles.

Quina Extract: is a medicinal herb, Quina (Cinchona officinalis) also known as Jesuit or Peruvian bark. The bark is stripped from the tree, dried, and powdered for medicinal uses. The Quina bark contains a variety of alkaloids. Quina natural extract of cinchona bark is an effective stimulant, with great toning power, and that acts directly on the hair bulb.

Wheat Extract: Wheat germ extract is beneficial for the scalp and encourages strength and elasticity of each strand. At the same time, nourishing vitamin E and lecithin act as building blocks to make your hair act strong and look healthy. The essential fatty acids of wheat germ oil are said to help to strengthen hair’s root and follicle.

Rosemary Extract: Rosemary extract is one of the best extract people choose to promote hair growth and reduce hair loss. Rosemary oil stimulates new hair growth and can be used to treat androgenetic alopecia.

Eucalyptus Oil: Eucalyptus oil is oil distilled from the leaves of the eucalyptus tree (Eucalyptus globulus), an evergreen known for its fast growth. Although the eucalyptus tree is native to Australia, it is now grown all around the world. According to a 2016 study, eucalyptus oil has antimicrobial, antifungal, and herbicidal properties.

Pine Oil: Pine essential oil is a derivative of pine tree needles, which are known for their strong aroma. In fact, one sniff of pine oil might remind you of a Christmas tree. As with other essential oils, pine has been used in traditional medicine for centuries. Vitamin E, known for increasing hair growth is found in Pine essential oil. It keeps the scalp clean and free from dandruff, pine oil is good for treating hair loss and thinning hair.

Amodimethicone: Amodimethicone is an amine-functionalised silicone, with NH and NH2 groups. In an acidic environment, like in a hair conditioner, amine groups become protonated when H+ ions attach to them, and it acquires a positive charge. This makes hair noticeably smoother and softer. Instead of feeling grippy and tangle-prone, or dry and spiky.

Biotin: also known as vitamin B7, stimulates keratin production in hair and can increase the rate of follicle growth. While biotin is added to some hair product like Nutrifol to reduce hair loss, there is no evidence that this works.

Panthenol: Panthenol is a chemical substance made from pantothenic acid, also known as vitamin B-5. It occurs organically and can also be produced from both plant and animal sources. It helps strengthening and nourishing hair follicle to promote healthy hair growth and prevent hair loss.

How to apply Nutrifol Ampoules

With dry or damp hair (after washing), apply over the entire scalp by rubbing with your fingertips in gentle circular motions, until all the content has been evenly dispersed.
